This website was made by and for the "Kelly Foundation".

Kelly is a eight year old girl, who was infected with bacterial meningitis at the age of 2. This bacteria caused her to suffer from two cardiac arrests, resulting in severe brain damage.

At the moment, Kelly can’t walk, sit, talk,play or even see. After a year, she learnt to chew and swallow her food.

She underwent several therapies to little effect. In Europe there is no further treatment for her. But now she has a new chance:

This therapy costs vast amounts of money. The health insurance companies in the Netherlands do not pay for this treatment and we cannot pay for it ourselves.
